After nearly fifty years of doing bonsai I have come to understand that bonsai is like astronomy. The more you know and the more you grow to understand, the more things that you don't know or understand become evident to you. Einstein died trying to come up with his theory of everything. The more he learned and understood the wider his vision took him into realms that he did not understand.....such is bonsai.
