November 11 and 12, 2006 the annual fall show of the Portland club took place again in the Japanese garden in the bontanical garden.
For a club show this was outstanding in my opinion. The whole setup was very well thought through, and very carefully done. Scott, a Boon disciple was apparently mainly responsible for this. The by now famous obsession woth quality of that school cetainly showed. I was really impressed.
Here a few glimpses.

Micheal Hagedorn has returned from his three year apprenticeship with Shinji Suzuki. He is determined to live in Oregon in the future. One more reason to watch out for these Oregonians in the. He say that he has no plans to continue with potting and will concentrate on bonsai teaching.

Michael did a very comprehensive tree critique at the fall show.
